Product Description

Cardinal Health Hydrocolloid dressings help facilitate local wound healing. The dressing absorbs wound exudate and creates a moist environment which supports the bodys healing process and aids in the removal of nonviable tissue from the wound (autolytic debridement), without damaging new tissue. Cardinal Health Hydrocolloid dressings consist of a wound contact layer of hydrocolloids. The top layer is a semi-permeable, polyurethane film backing, which allows for circulation of O2 , CO2 and water vapor, while excluding germs and water to protect the wound from external contamination.

• Propriety gelling formulation allows for most of the gel to be removed together with the dressing, resulting in little or no damage to the newly formed tissue
• Flexible, low-friction film backing reduces skin friction with clothing and patient bedding
• Moisture-resistant and will remain in place during showering
